1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Vela Strategy (“Vela Strategy”, “I”, “me”, “my”) to the client (“you”, “your”, “the client”).
By purchasing, booking, or engaging in any service provided by Vela Strategy, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Services
Vela Strategy provides marketing, branding, social media, customer experience, and strategic consultancy services for businesses.
Services may include, but are not limited to:

Growth review action plans

Social media strategy guidance

Brand and customer experience reviews

Content direction and campaign ideation

CRM and communications recommendations

Retainer-based consultancy support
Specific deliverables, timelines, and scope will be agreed at the point of booking or proposal acceptance.
3. Complimentary Reviews
Any complimentary reviews, audits, or recommendations provided by Vela Strategy:

are offered voluntarily
-
do not create a formal business relationship
-
do not include implementation work unless agreed separately
-
may be declined, paused, or withdrawn at any time
All complimentary recommendations are provided in good faith based on publicly available information and should not be considered formal business, financial, or legal advice.
4. Payments
One-Off Services
Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Work will not begin until payment has been received.
Retainer Services
Retainer invoices are payable monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Late payment may result in:

paused work
-
delayed delivery
-
suspension of services
5. Refunds
Due to the strategic and digital nature of consultancy work, refunds are generally not offered once work has commenced.
However, reasonable efforts will always be made to resolve concerns fairly and professionally.
6. Revisions
Unless otherwise stated, all one-off strategy products include:

1 round of minor revisions or clarification adjustments
Examples include:
-
wording changes
-
clarification of recommendations
-
small strategic refinements
Revisions do NOT include:
-
complete restructuring of deliverables
-
entirely new concepts or campaigns
-
additional strategy requests outside original scope
Additional revisions or expansion work may be charged separately.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

providing requested information within agreed timelines
-
ensuring any supplied business data is accurate
-
reviewing deliverables in a timely manner
-
implementing recommendations unless implementation support has been purchased separately
Delays in communication or missing information may impact delivery timelines.
8. Timelines
Estimated timelines begin once:

payment has been received
-
requested onboarding information has been supplied
-
discovery calls (where applicable) have taken place
Typical turnaround times are estimates only and may vary depending on project complexity and response times.
9. Scope of Work
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, strategy-based products do NOT include:

ongoing account management
-
daily social media posting
-
community management
-
graphic design production at scale
-
photography/videography
-
website development
-
paid media management
-
copywriting beyond agreed deliverables
-
CRM platform setup or technical implementation
-
legal or financial advice
Strategy products are designed to provide guidance, recommendations, frameworks, and direction for businesses to execute internally or through separate retained support.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed:

final paid deliverables may be used by the client internally for their business
-
Vela Strategy retains ownership of underlying methodologies, frameworks, templates, and strategic processes
Clients may not:

resell
-
redistribute
-
reproduce for commercial resale
any materials provided by Vela Strategy without written permission.
11. Portfolio & Marketing Usage
Vela Strategy reserves the right to reference completed projects, client names, or non-confidential work examples for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Confidential information will never be shared publicly.
12. Retainer Hours & Communication
For retainer clients:

agreed hours are allocated monthly
-
unused hours do not automatically roll over unless agreed
-
communication outside agreed scope may be billed separately
Reasonable communication via email or scheduled calls is included within retained time where relevant.
13. Results Disclaimer
While all recommendations are provided using professional experience and best practice, Vela Strategy cannot guarantee:

sales performance
-
lead generation outcomes
-
audience growth
-
algorithm performance
-
paid media results
-
SEO ranking positions
Marketing performance depends on multiple external factors including market conditions, budgets, timing, competition, and implementation quality.
14. Cancellation
One-Off Services
Projects may be cancelled before work begins. Once work has started, payments are generally non-refundable.
Retainer Services
Either party may terminate a retainer agreement with 14 days written notice unless otherwise agreed.
15. Confidentiality
Any sensitive business information shared during projects will be treated confidentially and will not be shared externally without permission.
16. Acceptance
By purchasing, booking, or continuing to engage with Vela Strategy services, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
